Ama Ariol’s creative director, Ayeola Adebayo Michael, known for his ability to constantly push the boundaries of androgynous fashion, makes use of volume, texture, and layering to create technically expansive wearable art (especially for his latest resort collection).
Some of his best design motifs are his use of asymmetrical hems and the choice of contrasting fabrics. The Ama Ariol pieces are functional, and casual, but just exaggerated enough to create an illusion of body shapes. The brand creates pieces for both men and women that have just enough of a dramatic effect to allow for interpretation and eccentricity.
