BOYDE is a menswear fashion brand founded in 2017 by Samkelo Boyde Xaba, a Johannesburg-based designer with a National Diploma and B Tech honours degree in Fashion and Design Technology from Tshwane University of Technology.
BOYDE specialises in custom tailoring and premium ready-to-wear. He draws inspiration from architecture, interior design, and simplicity to portray minimalism and high quality in a way that prioritises comfort and sustainability.
During the process, his materials are locally sourced as ethically as possible, his executions are environmentally friendly and the final piece is made to last for everyday fashion.
