Ephymol by Ephraim Molingoana was launched in 2002 when he debuted at SAFW with the Pink Panther collection, which highlighted tailored details and vibrant colours for menswear. Since then he has been trailblazing the field.
He’s as fearless as ever, with an uncanny ability to reinvent himself while maintaining the essence of what makes Ephymol so familiar. In his most recent collection of high-end streetwear and leisurewear, he made use of more earthy tones. Molingoana used an unusual mix of textiles to demonstrate great and clean tailoring with wool. His patchwork had some geometric elements to it. Molingoana specializes in creating a synergy between conflicting designs in his studies, and he currently prints its own materials.
