Gabrielle Swimwear is a Cape Town-based designer swimwear brand with a strong emphasis on sustainable and “slow fashion.” They’re known for their exclusive prints that showcase South Africa’s vast natural beauty, as well as providing high-quality, ethically produced garments in a variety of designs.
All of the fabric, trims, printing, and production are sourced locally, promoting fair trade, and the lycra used is Reach and Okea-tex certified. REPREVE fabric, which is made up of 82 percent recycled plastic bottles collected along coastlines, is used in the latest collection and all upcoming pieces.
The environmental effect is evaluated from start to finish, including material selection, quality, production, and packaging, with a particular focus on sustainability.
