GiLo Lifestyle, created by Gina and Loren, (pronounced Gee Low) is a Cape Town-based online business that focuses on ethical and sustainable fashion, specifically swimwear. It was founded in 2015.
It all started with Gina and Loren, two women who were equally passionate about fashion and the environment, to deliver eco-friendly and beautiful swimwear produced from recycled plastic retrieved from the ocean, with the goal of changing customer mindsets and buying behaviours.
The name is also an acronym for “Giving Love” back to the Planet. You can often see them tap into their wild side with rich African prints, colour pallets and animal prints.
