MASA MARA was launched in 2013 by creative director Eli Amza Gold with the goal of sharing stories of young African warriors’ bravery and resilience.
MASA MARA encapsulates the symbiotic relationship that can exist between the past and the present, the traditional and the contemporary. His designs pay homage to diverse tribes’ ethnic dress while fusing these components with urban activewear, with the goal of instilling traditional values in today’s generation while honoring their ingenuity.
Eli has never been scared of colour! He makes use of bold prints and designs to create a kaleidoscope of experiences that are both traditional and modern.
