Potrends (constructed from Potential Trends) was founded by Akali “Potential” Faith. The streetwear brand started in 2019 when one of his followers told him he should have his own fashion brand. With confidence in his own style, he packed up and moved to South Africa and started his label with his last R2000.00.
The brand creates hoodies, shirts, sweatpants and plans to expand into additional garments. Using only the highest quality of fabric and collaborating with some of the best textile artists, Potrends has quality and style in every stitch. Recently, he even showcased his collection at the Mall of Africa in collaboration with fashion week.
