The name defines it all, “sober”, a clear state of mind. Sober Design House, the ultimate of urban elegance, was founded by Tshepo Mafokwane, who decided she couldn’t accept the homogeneity and mediocrity she witnessed in her environment.
Her style is defined by dramatic, ultra-feminine silhouettes with cut shoulders and waists that are offset with surprising elements of softness and shimmer. This womenswear label can be found in a number of Gauteng boutiques. Tshepo, a former Tshwane University of Technology fashion design graduate, publicly promotes and encourages all women and their incredible potential to achieve anything they put their minds to.
